Ran out 80miles found the ling and some big amberjack and nice grouper it was a weekday trip so no snapper along with their catch was almaco jack, lesser amberjack and greater amberjack we have limits of some nice fish. 10_08_2010 2nd trip with Asher & Steve left early this morning for a red snapper run will have pics later when bill gets in. red snapper in the morning and late afternoon hitting the jetties on the way on. Catch today was limit for 3 red snapper up to 22 lbs. , 1 mackeral of some kind I know it wasn't kingfish not with blue across the top, 1 gray snapper which was a first for capt. bill's boat , 2 bullreds tagged and kept. 1 lone Huge Tigershark that seemed to like the guys bait but, never hit, Caught alot of fish today had several hookups to something big but, kept pulling back into the rigs. 10_09_2010 Saturdays trip was excellent running conditions so we made another 80 mile run was nice hoping for at least a few kingfish but, instead brought in some huge snapper had some huge break offs about 60 ' from a rig we were fishing I am thing this is enough I am special rigging for my next saturday trip out to 80 and I am bringing that bad boy in. Saw lots of big sharks out dep there was one blacktip i would say he went about 9 1/2 feet everyone tried to get him to take the bite and nothing he just wasn't having it . Our biggest snapper for 2 were 22 lbs, the grouper went to around 40 lbs. and the 1 kingfsh went to about 20 lb not huge but, a keeper.

10_02_2010 We had a private trip today with Fuseco out of dallas Texas was a rough one today but, man these guys were fisherman had limits of BIG red snapper in 2 hrs. catching and successfully releasing smaller under 10 lb snapper reason why keep smaller 10 lbers when captain Bill can put people on 15 lbs and above who says our red snapper fishery is overfished. Well start of Red Snapper Season with a bang. We had a rough slow going start this morning but, We had 2 customers onboard today that privatly chartered the Donzi We did make it out to 50 miles and found the red snapper. Man it was cranking today 5-6' solid but, the sows were there. So much for being fished out huh. Get these weights 25 lbs, 22 lbs, 18 lbs and 1 more a bit smaller not much just say around 15 lbs. Captain Bill called in a report they aren't in yet they decided to stop off at the jetties and pick up some bullreds. The trips are runnable you just need to go slow and easy but, a 35' center console is plenty big enough with alot of room. Will post the pictures on the tonight when bill gets in. So far so good nice snapper !Everyone take care Lynn and captain Bill Curry-Finsanity Boat-Bill took some good pics today. U can also check out my fishing report page on our website.
9_27_2010 had the pleasure of taking out the acadian group today what a great bunch of people these people could fish managed a limit of Bullreds all kept and tagged. 20 knot winds stopped us from going offshore but, fishing at the jetty was the option at the last minute. The Bullreds are loving this cooler weather today just beautiful but, a wet ride out with wind blowing the tops off the water at us. 10_01_2010 Seca cancelled for 2 boat trip and rebooked the donzi. 46' & 42 " Bullred caught on 9_05_2010 by the Irvin Family with Captain Bill on Finsanity the Donzi 9_22_2010 Took out a business trip for catch and release fish not a boat in site at the jetty we had it all to ourselves and the fishing paid off caught a 42 " bullred biggest fish of the day we fished 6 hrs. on a half day trip live and dead bait. Caught gafttop up to 8 lbs lots of craoker and sandtrout. The winds have definitly picked up this month along with out running storm fronts. But, Fishing has been pretty good for captain bill. On my beachfront trips I have haven't been seeing as many sharks as normal lots of 4-5' ters but, my biggest ones I am seeing are out deep. This time of year I love the Bullred runs it is a wait and see but, they do show up and the jetty water temps are cooling some down to about 87 yesterday windy not very good trout conditions but, great for the bullreds because they don't follow a tidal motion.. Well should have a report from a night fishing trip tonight stay tuned. These are great trips for the in-experienced angler to learn how the bite feels. Trout trips are more geared towards a experienced angler who can feel the bite. Remember saltwater fish don't bite like freshwater fish trout bite more like brim but, with a harder bite feel.
