Sept. 27,2010
9_27_2010 had the pleasure of taking out the acadian group today what a great bunch of people these people could fish managed a limit of Bullreds all kept and tagged. 20 knot winds stopped us from going offshore but, fishing at the jetty was the option at the last minute. The Bullreds are loving this cooler weather today just beautiful but, a wet ride out with wind blowing the tops off the water at us. 10_01_2010 Seca cancelled for 2 boat trip and rebooked the donzi. 10_02_2010 We had a private trip today with Fuseco out of dallas Texas was a rough one today but, man these guys were fisherman had limits of BIG red snapper in 2 hrs. catching and successfully releasing smaller under 10 lb snapper reason why keep smaller 10 lbers when captain Bill can put people on 15 lbs and above who says our red snapper fishery is overfished. Well start of Red Snapper Season with a bang. We had a rough slow going start this morning but, We had 2 customers onboard today that privatly chartered the Donzi We did make it out to 50 miles and found the red snapper. Man it was cranking today 5-6' solid but, the sows were there. So much for being fished out huh. Get these weights 25 lbs, 22 lbs, 18 lbs and 1 more a bit smaller not much just say around 15 lbs. Captain Bill called in a report they aren't in yet they decided to stop off at the jetties and pick up some bullreds. The trips are runnable you just need to go slow and easy but, a 35' center consoleis plenty big enough with alot of room. Will post the pictures on the tonight when bill gets in. So far so good nice snapper !Everyone take care Lynn and captain Bill Curry-Finsanity Boat-Bill took some good pics today. U can also check out my fishing report page on our website.
